Highlights

June Sira has received multiple prestigious awards, among them the Arches Prize, as well as the Art Club Prize at The National Annual Autumn Exhibition in Oslo, Norway in 1995. In 2000 she received the National UK Prize of the UBS Art Award, judged by the director of the Tate Modern, Sir Nicholas Serota. After the exhibition was held at the Whitechapel Gallery in London, it toured Europe throughout 2001.

June Sira has been purchased internationally by public and private collectors, amongst The Batra Family Collection, The National Gallery Norway and Arts Council Norway.

Education

June Sira was educated at the Oslo National Academy Of The Art where she studied painting, printmaking and sculpture from 1985 to 1992. She has a Master of Fine Art in painting from Chelsea School Of Art in London in 2000. Her work has been purchased by museums and institutions and she exhibits regularly.
